ABOUT US
Our love of dogs started young as we grew up training and competing with our family dogs and our neighbors' dogs in obedience, agility, rally, and showmanship. We started offering dog walking and boarding services through Rover.com in 2017 and fell in love with helping people and their dogs. To date we have completed over one thousand successful stays and garnered more than four hundred 5 star reviews.
RACHEL RAIRDON
Rachel is a certified Pro Dog Trainer through AbsoluteDogs. Her methods are based in positive reinforcement and games-based training. She believes training should be fun for the dog and their person. Results are achieved through enjoyable and cooperative learning. She runs training classes, meets clients for private training sessions, and creates and executes personalized training plans for dogs who come for day training or board and trains. When she's not training dogs, Rachel enjoys hiking and playing with her dogs and client dogs.
REBEKAH RAIRDON
Rebekah focuses her efforts on Content Canine's dog walking, hiking, boarding, and enrichment services. She understands that your dog is a member of the family and deserves the best care. Her rescue dog, Echo, inspired her to learn more about canine body language, behavior, and training so that she could help her overcome her fears and live life to the fullest. Rebekah is always listening to the latest positive dog training podcasts, reading about dog behavior and enrichment, and overall striving to understand dogs better and how to give them the best life possible. She loves getting outside to hike and play with her dogs all times of the year.
KONA AND HAZEL
Rachel has Kona, an 8 year old border collie / lab mix, and Hazel, a 6 month old heeler mix. Kona was Rachel's first dog has taught her what it means to have a positive relationship with your dog that is grown through training with games. Hazel is the newest member of the family and is a fun and spirited dog that Rachel hopes to dabble in sports with.
ECHO AND ASPEN
Rebekah has Echo, a 3 year old german shepherd mix, and Aspen, a 1.5 year old cattle dog mix. Echo is the perfect "assistant" for dog boarding and loves to engage and play with client dogs who come to visit. Aspen is a sweet dog who loves to cuddle and works with Rachel as a demo dog for her training.
